The lawns at the Big Manor House were flooding
The challenge
Flat low lying ground with nowhere to send the water to drain.
Our Solution
We decided to install drainage and irrigation, and with the removal of some old LPG Gas tanks we were able to create space for a Sprinkler Pump System. This was filled by the water previously collecting on the lawns.
This system in turn saved nearly three hours worth of watering each time the gardens got thirsty!
How long did it take? 3 Months.
Because of the size of the grounds, nearly 6 acres, it took a long time and over 600 meters of pipe to complete the work.
Results
Hopefully you can see the improvement in the outlook, and we also made good on all the work with a complete landscaping of the gardens, and a new driveway.
